SmallTalk graduates from the Alchemist accelerator

A group of people with their hands up watching the sunset

In January 2021, SmallTalk debuted at the 26th Demo day of Alchemist, a venture-backed accelerator aimed at speeding up the development of seed-stage ventures that monetize from enterprises. The 6-month program was conducted online with more than 50 experts coaching startups on sales, customer development and fundraising. The initiative is backed by the top corporate and VC funds: Khosla Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Accel Partners, to name a few. CB Insights has rated Alchemist the top program based on the median funding rates of its participants.

Sofia Terpugova, SmallTalk CEO: ‘The Alchemist accelerator was an incredible experience for our team and a unique opportunity to boost our knowledge and access the best enterprise mentors and investor networks. The funds raised assisted SmallTalk to progress and continue to bring us closer to our business goals.’

Ravi Belani, Managing Director, The Alchemist Accelerator & Stanford University Lecturer: ‘A strong technical background, a high-quality product and exceptional sales skills are common features of almost all Alchemist graduates, and SmallTalk is no exception. Their never-ending energy and passion impressed me and differentiated SmallTalk from the other participants. I firmly believe that their business drive, how they adapt to client’s needs, constantly improve their product and persistently address new challenges — will help them successfully compete in the market and make a breakthrough.’
